I think this system is based on giving an advantage to old members what is obvious cause they are the people that made the game rise to what it is now.
For exemple i can't remember how we call it but when you donate before a game goes out you know you're gonna get more benefits than if you donated after it started.
Players don't mostly donate with euros but more with time and hardwork, more times go pass more you will need time and hardwork. Prices are going down and you have to give more difficulty to new people. Why would it be easier for the new people to gain gear for low price while the people that worked hard on getting there gear like for exemple 1 year ago didn't get it that easy. It would be scam for them. Of course, i bet every new player would wish to get a full +22 right away but would that be fair for the old players if craft was that easy again today?
You have to get luckier at craft today but otherwise you have to pay less in gold compared to a long time ago.
