    • [GUIDE] Newbie Guide for 4Ancient

      4Ancient Beginner Guide

      • Create a PG
The first thing you have to do is to create an in-game character.
You can choose between 3 races and 6 classes.
The races are: Human, Werebeast and Fairy.
The classes are: Warrior, Archer, Assassin, Wizard, Summoner and Priest.

      • Choose the right race for your PG
Each race has different values of basic stats in a range between 0 and 4.
The stats are: Strength, Dextrexity, Vitality, Intelligence, Wisdom and Mentality.
      1. Humans have: +4 Dextrextity, +4 Mentality, +3 Strength, +2 Vitality, +2 Intelligence and +1 Wisdom. That make Humans the best race for Archers and Priests.
      2. Werebeasts have: +4 Strength, +4 Vitality, +3 Dextrexity, +2 Mentality, +2 Wisdom, +1 Intelligence. That make Werebeasts the best race for Warriors and Assassins.
      3. Fairies have: +4 Wisdom, +4 Intelligence, +3 Mentality, +2 Dextrexity, +2 Vitality, +1 Strength. That make Fairies the best race for Summoners and Wizards.

      • Best Farming Classes
The classes that I recommend you for farming are Mage and Archer. At level 26 each class gets an AOE skill. “Rain of Arrows” for Archers and “Ice Rain” for Mages. To efficiently farm with these skills just group up a bunch of mobs around you and then use the skill in the area where you are. If you have a good weapon, in this way you’ll level up in no time!
      • Levelling up to 80
The first thing you need to do is to level up at level 10. To do so, just complete the first standard quests given by the first NPCs. At level 10 you can start to use Docs to level up faster. The docs are special maps that give you more experience and money, but the PvP is enabled, so you can find enemies to fight with. At level 13 you’ll need to complete a special quest that you can find where you started to obtain the skill to wear a new type of armor. After that you can easily level up to 20 and pass to Doc 20 ecc up to level 80. The process is a bit monotonous but with a couple hours per day of exp you’ll reach level 80 very fast.
      • Upgrade your equipment.
As you level up, you have surely noticed that mobs are becoming stronger and stronger. To become stronger you’ll need to upgrade your items. To do so just go to your city and find the blacksmith. There you can upgrade your items with special scrolls that can be purchased for 30 silvers each at the shop. You can upgrade your items up to +7 at 100%. Upgrades can destroy your items in case of failing. To have a precise table of percentages just watch the introduction 4Ancient’s video. The best thing to do after gaining a bit of money is to upgrade all your items at +10 with a bit of luck and level up to level 34. After that you can start thinking about upgrading your level 34 equipment up to +10 first and then to +18. But how?
      • Upgrade Items.
There are some cash items that allow you to easier upgrade your equipment and to protect your item from destruction in case of failure. Those items can be purchased with Moonstones that can be bought on the 4Ancient’s Shop or with Bonuspoints that are gained by killing mobs. To be precise the most important upgrade items are 3.
“Survival Tincture” allows you to protect your items from destruction and can be obtained only with Moonstones, Bonuspoints or you can be lucky and find them inside Goddess Tears, an item dropped by mobs. The other two are “Serendipity Potion” that doubles your chances to upgrade the item and “Master’s Formula” that upgrades up to 3 level per upgrade procedure.
Those items can be farmed in special dungeons where mobs drop them. Those dungeons like Docs are special documents called Arahur, Second Battle and Narwashi. The best dungeon to go in, is Second Battle because you can start farming those items from level 39 to level 62.

I recommend upgrading your items up to +9 and from there start using the upgrade items to upgrade up to +11, +13, +15, +18 in this order because those levels have the best percentage of success. If you have an item for example +14 just use a special scroll that can be bought in player’s shops or you can also drop in second battle, that lowers the item level by 1. If you have a +14, use that scroll to go +13 and then upgrade again. This will allow you to get +15 easier!

      • Refining
Other than upgrades, items can be also enchanted. The enchants give the item more stats that make the item better. For example enchants can make the attack speed of a crossbow faster. How can i enchant items? You just go where you upgrade your items but this time you need to buy the scroll that costs 120 silvers in the shop. That scroll will allow you to enchant your items. There are also shop items that allow you to get better enchants. There is another way to get enchants. You’ll need items of Space Time Dungeons, that are special items that are dropped already at +17/+18 and refine your item with those.
To refine an item with another one, they MUST have the same upgrade level. You can’t refine a +1 item with 3 +17.
Usually enchanted items present in the tooltip a section in blue. You can upgrade further those items with a special scroll, that can be crafted or purchased to improve the enchants and give the item a golden tooltip. You can’t enchant items any further. Before we talked about refining to transfer magical properties from an item to another one, but it’s its only use? No! All armors and weapons have a durability. Refining your items, will increment their durability, so you have to repair them less often. WARNING! If a durability of an item reaches 0 it won't add the armor stats to your pg!

      • Gebra battle
At level 80 you’ll have access to a special kind of battle in the Gebra Castle. I invite you to go only if you have an equipment at least all +18 with some good rings, earrings and necklace. This war will reward any participant with upgrade items and other prizes. Obviously if your reign wins it, you get more.
      • Crafting
In 4Story you can create more powerful items by crafting them. The best things you can craft are armors and weapons, but you can also craft potions, scrolls and other stuff. The best thing you can do after having a level 80+ PG and all +18, is to start crafting those special armors called PvP Armors. Those armors can’ t be normally traded like other items, you’ll need to seal them with a special scroll. What do we need to create those items? Good question. The requirements depend on the kind of armor you want to craft, but there are 2 items that are always required for armors: Water of the Worlds and Osiris Gemstone.
The first item is obtained with Achievement points killing enemies or winning the wars. The second one is obtained with Space-Time Dungeons. We’ll talk about them later. For weapons things get more complicated, because PvP weapons are the rarest items of the game. For them other than Water of The Worlds and Osiris Gemstones you’ll need Castle’s Stones. Those items can be crafted in a special map that you can teleport in at the portal in front of the Docs portal. You can access to this map only if your guild conquered a Castle in a war.
      • Guilds
One of the most important things to do in the game is to find a good Guild. Thanks to the guild you can meet other people to group with to make the game more fun and to level up faster. But the most important things that you can do with a guild is the Territory War. During the Territory War, each guild tries to conquer a particular place in War’s maps. If they do they obtain an amount of Achievement Points. So the fastest way to craft PvP items is to enter a guild!

      • Space-Time Dungeons
The Space-Time Dungeons are special dungeons. For entering in those dungeons you need to be at level 19 for the first one, 29 for the second and so on up to 79. Before entering the Space-Time Dungeons you’ll need to complete a certain amount of quests that lead you to get Memphis pieces. Those items will show you the portal to a certain map during the past. In those dungeons you’ll have to defeat some enemies and to complete some quests to arrive at the end. In each Space-Time Dungeon there is a Boss that you have to defeat. After defeating it, 3 new mobs will appear. Aaron and 2 Guards. Those mobs will drop the Osiris Gemstones that are required for crafting and special items that are already upgraded to a determined level. For example at Space-Time Dungeon of 79 you can obtain items equipable by level 78 that are +18, that you can use them for refining or sell.
