I have an idea about the whole market thing. Actually, since I am starting from almost zero again i get a second chance to remember the struggles of a new player in the game. What i really noticed about my situation is that even though i may have made some gold on my own from trades i have so many little items that not many people want, they are so many however, and they could bring a fair amount of coin into my bags.
Another major problem that we, the 4ancient community/players have dealt with so far is the rapid market changes. So many problems have been caused duo to the seller and buyer demand and etc, it continues forever. Prices were up, they went down, they go down, others as i have mentioned in other posts of mine on the new patch suggestions, ( where i recommended the increase of the upp rates ) others got rich and benefited from the population increase.
Thing is that i dont really see any good in that. Unstable prices, many prices and many drops/items. And not only the increase of the production made and makes the prices unstable but it also put the sellers into a plight situation. They dont seem to get their chance easily to trade. And of course they do trade but it becomes harder and harder. If you could let me give an example of this, i would suggest tinctures. When i started on May not only did i get rewarded fairly for the tinctures i farmed but i also found buyers in a matter of seconds. Now I am as much important as the next guy. If not me , he will lower the price. If i farm, so does he, but now its more than he,there are a lot of farmers obviously.
So now, here is what I suggest ( please read carefully in order not to miss important concepts of the suggestion ) :
Of course the NPC would be no other than this guy : Because we will have this guy buying our items at an agreed price of gold we set we will sell the items to him
right? Now, the items difficult to obtain but easy to buy would finally get the value they deserve. How? Well now, it is needed
to sell the items to a player but with the update we would be able to sell them to the NPC and make quick money without producing more drops ,items and unstabilizing the server prices and demand which would finally lead to easier money. If they, the buyers want to buy an item cool but no need for robbery. He should either pay the frozen price we set, and sell it to him or he should offer more so we can actually profit.
EDIT : To make it even clearer, because we will have a standard offer from the NPC, sellers will anyway be okay on their side. As a result, an amount of drops or items will be reduced making items and drops more valuable since they are less. Now the buyers will also treat the goods with fair prices and also the ''robbery'' will stop. And that is not all! With this update market will be very active more than ever. The reason is obvious.
Now, depending on the team's decision we could have some other ideas here too.
1. The NPC buying the item on the condition it was for days on the auction and wasnt being bought.
2. A special seal that lets you sell your items to him, like a cash seal you could buy only from cash shop and supporting the team and game.

- I believe it is time to give some value on the items and let the seller sell his items quickly and make coin, its important for the buyer to find the items he wants faster, its high time we stabilized the prices already. I recommend having an instant way of making money safely and forever. I think we should choose the prices for the game items via poll , end up to agree X price and lets freeze at X price. We dont need to lower the prices again and have others make money and other just start without any advantages like gold multiplication. We have to sell our items and get gold. We need to stabilize values and set goals for gold if u are new. The 4ancient could edit the item values and put the Y item X price, which is the price agreed and the price players would sell it for IF they found a buyer. What im suggesting is that we should have an NPC buying any item you sell him to at the server's prices created now.
