From what I remember from several years ago, I think that upgrading from odd numbers (+15, +17, +19) has an higher chance of success... Other than that you have to find those 250% potions and all those premium things for upgrades... I hope that helps you

in 4Ancient you have best chance from 13>15>16 >17=18=19 they are specific + levels, from 12 and 14 is small
